Physical brokenness is instructional
The injury became a teaching device, rather than an interruption to life.

The injury became a teaching device, rather than an interruption to life.
This journey is how physical brokenness inspired my mind, in a way, to teach me spiritual lessons that I needed to learn in this lifetime.
A situation makes itself known way before it becomes a crisis, but at a volume most people ignore until it escalates.
As Oprah says, don’t wait for the brick to fall on you. Listen to the whisper.
It was written to be an early warning, so realignment can happen before a crisis.
The book is a whisper, to lead people to their own self-discovery of what really matters in life.
I was on a beautiful path before the fall, but I think I was trying to do all the things. And in stillness, I found my own level of stability.
This kind of stability emerges when everything else slows down.
They just assume, oh, when bad things happen, I need to be in a bad mood. And the message of this is that that is not the case.
The book shows a different way to navigate challenge.
For anyone mid-collapse, you can “continue to trek your own path. Small steps are still progress.”
Mine was a physical injury, but maybe it’s divorce, maybe it’s heartache, maybe it’s a job loss, maybe it’s grief.
Stripping out the specifics means the approach works for anyone who has been through a rupture of their own.
The book is an opportunity and an invitation to act now.
I just pray that you don’t wait until you have a catastrophic situation to then correct yourself.
When one channel closes, everything else opens up.
With an injury, now everything else is in hyper mode to accommodate what you cannot control.
Three examples of this are a blindfolded two-hour dinner, a day spent blind in high school, and the months after the fall.
I knew it intuitively, but intuition and instruction are two different things. And then when you’re in an instructional experience, you’re forced to come to terms with how deeply you believe in something.
Take away the spoken word to hear the inner voice.
I studied ASL to get more comfortable with the inner voice, when the spoken word is now eliminated.
The most direct route to change is often the simplest.
He was like, there goes a yogi response. I was like, no. Everything is trying to find equilibrium.
The stock market is showing us that with mass highs or lows, to get back there you have to predict when it’s going to correct itself.
This same principle applies to the body, and our core state of balance.
If a client says, “I want to do X, but I don’t know why I can’t get to X,” we don’t start with the goal. We locate and address the imbalance first, and that resolves the presenting problem.
The person is able to return to a state of homeostasis where they’re flowing in a different way, where their awareness is there and they’re able to act.
The coach’s job is to make themselves unnecessary, as the client is able to act from their own volition.
You ask anybody, they’re going to say eat spinach. But if that’s the case, why aren’t we all eating spinach?
Knowledge isn’t the constraint, so adding more of it won’t solve the problem.
Spinach can represent authority, and being told what to do. This can mean that the most helpful actions end up in conflict with the deeper need to choose for yourself.
I choose the chocolate not because it’s better for me, but because I feel like it’s free will.
When a client says they want X, but can’t achieve X, then X becomes information about where the blockage exists. This is the spinach question: everybody knows the right action to take, so what is standing in the way?
The discipline required in trading, and in practising yoga, are the same core skill.
Clear the energy first, and only then apply analytical thinking to the situation.
Reframing circumstances means progress is always possible, even if it’s slow.
Most coaching focuses on motivation, but here the focus is on autonomy and choice.
Three unique coaching frameworks drawn from Jeryn’s invisible expertise.
The presenting problem is a symptom. The cause exists underneath as an energetic imbalance, and once that’s cleared, the person can act from their own volition. The message is always communicated quietly at first, and the cost of not hearing it rises with time.
A diagnostic for listening to the body’s signals, and responding to the message early.
An energy approach of getting to the root of a presenting problem.
This method reveals why people who know exactly what to do, don’t take action.
The current way of communicating is a description: a mindfulness coaching business, mixing yoga principles with process improvement skills learned in corporate. To be more compelling, lead with the problem instead.
The 7 Step Clearing
Most people have goals, but are struggling in some way to reach them. I don’t start with the goal, but instead with whatever is getting in its way. Once that blockage is cleared, I’m no longer needed for successful change to happen on its own.
The Spinach Method
Everybody already knows what they should be doing, so adding more knowledge won’t solve the problem. What my work does is reveal the subconscious reasons people keep choosing against what they already know, so that aligned action becomes effortless.
The Whisper Method
Your body tells you what you need to know, before it stops you, and the cost of ignoring that message goes up with time. I help people to hear that message, and answer it, while it’s still a whisper.
